Bio

Welcome to my website!

I have loved all things dinosaurs since I was a little girl: movies, TV shows, books, toys, and stuffed animals. My vast imagination helped her cultivate these characters and developed them for many years before her writing career. I began writing short stories that in middle school, experimenting with different characters and styles.

No matter what I was going through in my life, dinosaurs were always there to comfort me during the good, the bad and the ugly.

When I grew up, I pursued a career as a registered nurse. In 2018, I earned my associate’s degree in nursing from Alamance Community College, where she met her husband just a few years prior. In 2020, I earned my bachelor’s degree in nursing from Appalachian State University’s online RN-to-BSN program. In that same year, I began thinking more about the stories I wrote when I was younger. So, in between 12-hour shifts as an ICU nurse, I began writing Glowing Red during the COVID-19 pandemic. A few years passed by, and I found my job as a nursing instructor, a job I love. In 2025, I earned my Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.

My incredible nursing career has only grew my dinosaur enthusiasm! Each story began with pen and paper as I handwrote my rawest ideas before typing it onto the computer. The creative process would captivate me for hours from the spark of an idea to the finished product. Every story is an adventure!

I am also a devout Catholic, wife, and mother.
